90-Year-Old Grandma Sings Hilarious Version of Patsy Cline Hit Dedicated To Seniors

Vera is a sprightly 90-year-old woman who proves that you’re never too old to laugh about everything, even the not-so-pleasant stuff, that life has to offer. Spending many decades on the planet tends to take a toll on our bodies, but sweet Vera not only sees the comical side of growing older, she even sings about it! This cheeky grandmother tweaked the lyrics of a classic hit by country legend Patsy Cline, and unleashed the hilarious do-over at her 90th birthday bash.

Vera started to strum her guitar and it becomes obvious that this grandma has still got it. Then she asks the crowd, “Does anybody remember Patsy Cline and ‘I Fall To Pieces?’ Well, I rewrote it and I dedicated it to seniors and it’s ‘We Fall To Pieces.’ And if any of you young people think it’s not true, I have news for you!” That’s when Vera gives us a glimpse of her songwriting brilliance, which she dedicates to all the seniors out there that are still rockin’ this world. “We fall to pieces, just when it’s time to have fun. We fall to pieces, from all the work that we’ve done.”

If you think that’s a riot, then wait until you get a load of the rest of her lyrics! She jokes about saving up for the Golden Years, the RV you buy to see the country, Geritol, and how you can’t get back up after you bend down. Ha ha! Ninety years old and she’s still amazing. When she plays her “senior citizen” version of a Patsy Cline song the entire room was laughing until they cried. Watch the video below to see why it’s much better, and more fun, to look at the bright side of life.
