Cop Drenched In Sweat At The Beach – Woman Can’t Believe What’s On Officer’s Back

While a woman was sunbathing on a Florida beach, she saw a police officer walking toward her, drenched in sweat.

When she noticed what was on his shoulders, she was shocked.

Jessica Barnes was at Pensacola Beach, sunbathing, when she turned her head and spotted a police officer walking toward her in the distance.

As he came closer, she noticed he was carrying something on his shoulders – a five year old boy.

According to a Newsioisty, the five-year-old had gotten separated from his family while swimming and as soon as the officer spotted him, he picked him up and tried to help him find his family.

The officer was covered in sweat, as the incident took place on a 97 degree, July day in Florida.

However, he was committed to making sure the boy, wearing his swimsuit and swimming gear, made it back safely to his family.

Barnes shared a post about what she saw on the Love What Matters Facebook page.

“Today while vacationing on the beach we noticed these two deputies with this young boy. Somehow he lost his mom while swimming, and this deputy walked the entire beach with him on his shoulders,” Barnes wrote in the post. “My weather app reads 97 degrees outside today. Notice both deputies in full uniform, and probably dying of sweat but relentless to find his family.

Once back with his mom the deputies gave the boy his own sheriff badge, new sunglasses and a beach ball for the day. Let’s share this post to show how awesome these guys are!”

The post quickly went viral, garnering more than 49,000 likes and more than 13,000 shares. Hundreds of users commented on the original post as well.

“I wish all people could see and read this…we need to unite as One…treat each other with kindness and compassion,” one user commented. “I don’t understand why there is so much hate going on… ITS A BEAUTIFUL WORLD WE LIVE IN.”

“Thank God for these guys,” another user commented. “That little boy will remember his guardian angels for the rest of his life. No words….but thank you.”
